For over 24 years, Melissa Misgen has been at the helm of Elite Events Catering, building a brand known for culinary excellence, elegant presentation, and impeccable service. As a seasoned entrepreneur and event visionary, Melissa has catered hundreds of weddings and high-profile events across Tampa Bay, earning a reputation as one of the most trusted names in hospitality.
Her passion for food and entertaining was shaped by a Midwestern upbringing and inspired by travels throughout Europe, where she studied flavor, ambiance, and the art of gathering. That passion now fuels every event she produces—whether it's an intimate dinner or a grand wedding celebration.

When it comes to logistics and organization, John keeps the machine well oiled, so to speak! John joined Elite Events Catering full time more than 10 years ago, after a 20-year career in retail management. His extensive corporate experience is a huge asset to our team.

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable experiences, Terri has successfully planned events for both local and national clients, ensuring that each occasion reflects the client's vision and objectives.
An innovative thinker, Terri stays current with industry trends, continuously seeking new ways to enhance event experiences. Her collaborative approach enables her to work seamlessly with teams and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships that contribute to successful events. Her experience with budget management, site selection, and contract negotiation, are a huge asset in providing clients with exceptional service and value.
Outside of event planning, Terri enjoys traveling and fitness. She believes in the power of events to bring people together and create lasting connections, making each project not just a job, but a personal passion.
